Jordan Alan Jackson is a singer songwriter from Brown County, Ohio, out east of Cincinnati, carving out a rock edged Americana sound with country senses, gospel soul, folk grit, and a little heavy music still rattling around in the walls. A knuckle busting, blue collar entrepreneur by day and a working musician by night, Jordan writes from the real life grind of building something with his own two hands. Long days. Hard lessons. Faith. Failure. Family. Love. The kind of stuff you can't learn from a brochure.
His voice is gravel worn and honest, the kind that sounds like it had to earn its way to the microphone. Whether he is playing solo acoustic or standing in front of the full band, Jordan brings songs that feel lived in, familiar, and built for people who still believe music should mean something.
Over the past five years, Jordan has been putting in the work. Writing songs, playing rooms, collaborating with other artists, tightening the band, learning the hard way, and growing one show at a time. That grind has led to opening slots for Smith & Myers, featuring Brent Smith and Zach Myers of Shinedown, and Raelyn Nelson, granddaughter of Willie Nelson. He has also collaborated on shows and creative projects with many local and emerging artists across the region.
The live band brings the whole thing to life. Haden Owens, Jordan’s blood family, holds down the bass with feel and backbone. Billy Max Andrews, his brother on drums, drives the songs with grit, heart, and fire. Michael Ronstadt, nephew of Linda Ronstadt, brings cello into the mix like a harmonic philosopher, adding depth, tension, and cinematic soul. Together, they turn Jordan’s songs into something bigger than one guy with a guitar. It feels like family, it sounds like a band with something to prove, and it is ready for the next room, the next stage, and the next level.
